Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. I am a private pay provider. This means I do not bill insurance directly. The benefit is that your care stays confidential and flexible — no labels, no limits set by an insurance company. Some clients choose to use their out-of-network benefits by requesting a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

How do I know if you’re the right fit for me?

Finding the right therapist is a big deal. You want someone who understands your struggles, respects your boundaries, and offers real tools that actually help. If you’ve read through my services and the specialties resonate with what you’re working on, we’re already off to a strong start. Here’s what you can expect if we work together:

    • Safe, judgment-free space → Whether you’re navigating trauma, identity, relationships, or something else, you’ll be met with compassion — not criticism. My practice is fully inclusive of all identities, orientations, abilities, and bodies.

    • Your privacy matters → Everything we discuss is confidential and protected under HIPAA, with secure, encrypted records. Nothing is shared without your consent, except in the rarest legal situations.

    • Intentional caseload → I limit the number of clients I work with so you always get the time, attention, and care you need. You’re never just a number here.

    • Flexible & convenient scheduling → Sessions are easy to book online, paperwork is electronic, and with enough notice, I can usually adjust your appointment time.

    • Accessible between sessions → Life doesn’t always stick to the schedule. I’m available by secure message or email for quick check-ins, reschedules, or unexpected issues.

    • Tailored to you → Every treatment plan is personalized. I spend time before and after sessions reflecting, researching resources, and preparing so our work together is meaningful.

    • Multiple options for care → Choose from secure telehealth sessions, group coaching, or trauma-informed training experiences. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and neither are my services.

    • Practical tools & resources → You’ll leave with more than conversation — I often provide reading materials, tools, and strategies you can use between sessions.

    • Respect for your time → Sessions start and end on time. No crowded waiting rooms, no wasted minutes.

    • Support beyond my office → If you ever need to transition to another provider or move away, I’ll help connect you to referrals and resources so you’re not left without support.

Working with me means more than sessions on a calendar. It’s a safe, reliable, and personalized partnership focused on your healing and growth.
